Good job Mr. Miller!

When it comes to movies about my childhood memories I remember these three: Star Wars, Alien, Mad Max.

In the beginning of 2000s Star Wars made its return with Episode 1 and I still remember how I was excited in the theatre while watching it. I was 7 or 8 when I first watched it and of course it was a great return for me to have the same experience again.

Alien on the other hand was not that much satisfactory. For me, Alien 3 was a major hit therefore in the next episode the expectation was higher. But Alien: Resurrection - I mean what was it ? A bunch of synchronized swimming aliens can scare us now ? But I knew why it failed, because all of 4 were directed by different directors.

And finally, Mad Max.. George Miller must have been born to make this art piece for sure. Such a brilliant idea and an epic story with an anti hero lead. The new generation met Mel Gibson when he was William Wallace, but way years a go, he got made his breakthrough when he was Max, the mad cop of Australia roads.

Mad Max: Fury Road is probably the best masterpiece that a movie director could do after three decades! Even people has no idea about the original story must love it ! I am always happy and feel hopeful when I see such great efforts in movie industry as what George Miller did. A few weeks I go I was cursing Hollywood movies and I am now very happy to see that I am still wrong :)

Hard spring

Such a long winter it is. Even we’re spending most of our times indoors one still needs to see the sun is shining outside. So what do you do to get rid of the blues out your head?

I tell you what I do, firstly I become aloof. I don’t call friends, speak no one and wait for hitting the bottom. Sometimes life looks different when you’re down. People are Strange When You’re A Stranger as The Doors says but you don’t care the others when you’re switched off. The days pass slowly and every day it’s the same stuff. And you know what, it is fun in a way.

There is always a raise after hitting the bottom. Therefore I try to visit down there from time to time to break all these daily routines, concerns and stupid artificial stress factors. By the way did you know that stress is the most dangerous poison to your soul and body?
And there always a warm, sunny summer comes after spring. It's time for me to jump up again. To send " hey yo !" messages, make plans to have long walks, find common things to talk and most importantly listen to them. I believe the best valuable thing in friendship is to hear what your friends tell you and stay cool about the things you listen.

This is how you see the world in a depressed day.

And how the world looks like in an ordinary day
And the music of course. Here is a recovery formula after depression

A life after Birdman

After I watched Birdman the first thing I did was to delete my Facebook account. I already quit Twitter a week ago. Even I've got rid of that Foursquare/Swarm thing which used to be my favorite a while ago. What has Birdman got to the with it ? Not the main reason but a trigger definitely.

The movie is beyond a cinema experience, for me actually it was a real torture. Hollywood was criticizing their own industry we as the audience was the real target in this.

OK, we all admit that for the last ten years maybe the movies are all crap except for a few ones. Hollywood was creating magic till the end of 90s. Nowadays what we see are just  no more good dialogues no more good acting no more a real good story but lots of visual effects, explosions, giant alien machines and long hours of chasing cars. But was it us who demanded this? It was Hollywood who started this. They made all these lousy movies and we watched them. Some of us loved it, but not all of us were crazy about this low quality but expensive productions.

So why in Birdman the producers criticized us mostly rather than the people in industry? I don't know and I don't care since they made such a boring movie. I just realize that I was one of these people whose eyes were always on the little screen of their mobile phones, not the real life that surround around them. And ironically we judge people, make assumptions and have always right to say about the events and we are never there and we don't even know these people. What is this ? A new way of hating life ? To live in such an artificial environment should be fun - remember The Sims. But instead our social media networking looks like Call of Duty arena!

A real life experience. I saw this in a narrow street in Berlin and fortunately I was with a friend who speaks German. It makes only sense what Mr. Adamski says here if you're literally there in that street.

I think I consumed social media a lot and became an addict. When I said "we" I mean "I" actually. See, that little screen on mobile makes you deny yourself quickly as well, haha.

Anyway, to sum up. Birdman is a boring movie however it's worth seeing it. Facebook and Twitter are not your priority but nice to have them - just watch out yourself!
